Booking FAQ – Kukula Safaris
Do you allow self-camping?
Nope. We provide the tents, beds, and bathrooms. Trust us, it’s easier this way.
Is there WiFi or phone signal?
Not really. It’s blissfully quiet. Come prepared to disconnect — the only notifications you’ll get are from the birdlife.
What about meals?
You bring your own food, drinks, and snacks. We provide the kitchen basics (braai, smoker, kettle, toaster, utensils, dishwashing, toilet rolls etc.).
Do you provide bedding and towels?
Yes — all tents come with fresh linen and towels. No need to pack those.
Can children stay?
By prior arrangement, yes. Please check with us before booking so we can set things up properly.
How far is Kukula from Lusaka?
About two hours by road. Long enough to shake off the city, short enough for a weekend escape.
What kind of animals might we see?
Everything from kudu and zebra to giraffe and buffalo. They’re wild — not tame — but often curious enough for a good look. (Binoculars are optional, not essential.)
What should I pack?
Comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, food and drinks, insect repellent, and maybe a torch. Leave the high heels, drones, and loudspeakers at home — nature’s playlist is better anyway.
